Historical Book Catalogue of China

The 中國歷代典籍總目 is a joint initiative of the National Library of China, Beijing, and the Beijing University. More than 2 Million bibliographical entries of Chinese historical books can be browsed, searched and analysed statistically.

The resource collects and structures information on Chinese historical books contained in the bibliographical chapters of the Standard Histories, private and officially compiled historical bibliographies as well as current and historical library and topical catalogues. The database can be browsed from different angles of research perspective (such as kind of edition, time of printing etc.), allows complex searches and advanced statistic analysis of the data.
