Online-Workshop: AI and Knowledge in Action – CrossAsia and the Stabi Lab

Discover how the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin is exploring the future of library services through two exciting lab initiatives: The CrossAsia Lab is experimenting how artificial intelligence can transform access to knowledge. Learn how multilingual, mixture, licensed and copyright protected materials with library services are being developed to make it easier than ever to discover and explore huge collections in different languages in scripts — no matter where you’re from or what language you speak. The Stabi Lab, on the other hand, focuses on knowledge transfer and collaboration. How can experimental spaces create room for innovation? Whether through collaborative research or joint projects, the Stabi Lab offers a wide range of opportunities for co-creation and future partnerships. It’s a space where ideas are tested, knowledge is shared, and new ways of working together are encouraged. Together, these labs showcase how the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin is not only preserving knowledge — but actively shaping its future.
